‘Deep tech changes the world, we want to change the world! I invite you to collaborate with everyone, with each other, to reshape the world, I would say atom by atom, thank you.’
We would like to take this moment to thank everyone who made this beautiful event possible and congratulate our Challenge winners for being the best ambassadors of Deep Tech.
ATLANT 3D Nanosystems is a global pioneer combining unique advanced technologies to enable atomic layer 3D printing. The company was founded in 2018 by Dr. Maksym Plakhotnyuk, Ivan Kundrata, and Prof. Dr. Julien Bachmann with a vision of delivering the first-ever atomic layer 3D printing technology to reshape the future atom by atom.
OXYLE eliminates highly persistent, organic pollutants from industrial and municipal wastewaters. They provide a robust and efficient technology for complete elimination of organic contaminants from wastewater. Oxyle’s patented technology employs clean energy and sustainable materials which can service versatile customer segments and allows their customers to meet their stringent water discharge regulations.
Lypid Food is developing a vegan fat with a rich meaty mouthfeel that can replace animal fat to elevate alternative proteins. It’s all natural, with no trans fat and with reduced overall fat! They enable a tech that allows vegan oils to perform like animal fat. We take liquid vegan oils that can perform like animal fat which stands above cooking temperature. No matter how you cook Lypid’s new vegan fat, it behaves like real bacon fat.
RepAir (winner of the Unlocking the CO2 circular economy sponsored by Orano) captures CO2 from air using electrochemical CO2 separation technology.
Crover (winner of the Food & Agriculture track in partnership with EITFood) aims to feed the Earth’s population while protecting our planet.
Aeroflux Braking Systems (winner of the Aerospace track in partnership with Safran) develops magnetic aircraft brakes that provide frictionless, virtually wear-free braking on commercial aircraft.
D-NOME (winner of the Medical Biotech & Pharmaceuticals track) is creating biotechnologies and chemistries enabling the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
AI Redefined (winner of the Data & AI track) is developing a collaborative system between AI and humans to reduce bias and better understand machine decisions.
Enerdrape (winner of the Mobility and Urban Sustainability track in partnership with Leonard) turns underground infrastructures into renewable heat sources through its modular geothermal panel.
NUProtein (winner of the Industrial Biotech & New Materials track in partnership with Solvay) develops a cell-free, low-cost protein synthesis technology.
Deepspin (winner of the Digital Health & Medical Devices track in partnership with Future4care) develops a portable, low-cost MRI, enabling point-of-care MRI scans.
C12 Quantum Electronics (winner of the Computer & Communication Hardware track) builds processors capable of handling large-scale quantum calculation.
Thank you to every one of you that attended, and made the 2021 edition of the Hello Tomorrow Global Summit such an unforgettable one: our ten-year anniversary. Throughout two jam-packed days, we brought together the key players of the deep tech ecosystem to analyse, inspire, nurture and build the future we all need.
The act of our community coming together is a superpower in the face of the challenges our world is facing today, and to the thousands of you that we had the pleasure of welcoming, with a shared vision to propel this new wave of innovation, we’re grateful to be on this journey with you. Please fill out this short survey and let us know more about your experience and what we can improve!
And with that, see you next year!
Love the Hello Tomorrow Team.
