About the Initiative

The Women in Deep Tech initiative provides mentoring and networking to amplify the work of women founders driving scientific and technological breakthroughs. By building connections and increasing access to key resources, we want to ensure that deep tech innovation reflects the full spectrum of talent driving it forward. 

I witnessed 10 out of 11 winners of the 2023 Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge being men on stage, and the one woman who was there was not initially supposed to pitch. I could not wrap my head around the fact that almost half of our Deep Tech Pioneers were women-led, that we’ve put so much effort into ensuring parity in our panel of speakers, and yet we had only a few women pitching on stage during our flagship event. This is how the Women in Deep Tech initiative was born, to incentivise more women to represent their innovations on stage and have the spotlight they deserve.

Exclusive In-Person Events & Networking

Each year, during our summit we organise an event to help women-led deep companies and founders connect with a powerful community of investors, industry experts, and fellow founders. We amplify their work and open doors to strategic partnerships and funding opportunities.

Matchmaking & Mentorship

At the Hello Tomorrow Summit, we connect women deep tech founders with the right mentors to support their growth. Through a carefully curated matchmaking process, we pair startups with experienced mentors from our network based on their specific needs.

Wellbeing

The challenges of leading a deep tech startup can take a toll on mental and physical health. In this group, guidance is provided on managing stress, building resilience, and maintaining a sustainable work-life balance, ensuring long-term success and well-being.

Personal Branding

A strong personal brand can open doors to new opportunities. In this group, advice is offered on crafting a compelling narrative, increasing visibility, and positioning oneself as a thought leader, allowing founders to attract investors, partners, and top talent.

Leadership

Strong leadership is essential for turning groundbreaking ideas into reality. This group is designed to support the development of decision-making skills, confidence, and team management strategies, helping founders navigate the complexities of leadership in deep tech.

Securing investment remains one of the greatest challenges for founders. Through this group, insights are shared on fundraising strategies, pitching techniques, and navigating the venture capital landscape, helping to unlock essential funding opportunities.

Overcoming Gender Bias

Systemic challenges continue to affect women in deep tech. This group provides a space where strategies for navigating bias, advocating for equal opportunities, and fostering a more inclusive industry can be explored, ensuring that talent and innovation receive the recognition they deserve.

  • March 14,2025 | 1:00 PM – Investors, corporates, and media can meet the exceptional women founders selected as finalists of the Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge.
